I’ve started a side hustle—a passion project—to engage my mind and body in a hands-on, creative process.

I launched Deg & Design, a micro bakery where I bake and sell sourdough bread on demand.

Following traditional methods, every loaf is handcrafted with only organic and natural ingredients.

But this isn’t just about baking. The website where customers can order my bread is built using Loveable and ChatGPT—two AI-powered tools that allow me to innovate at the intersection of AI and design. Exploring, testing, and creating new opportunities in this space excites me!

The Deg & Design site is fully custom-built with my style guide and UX needs—a tiny yet powerful e-commerce platform with just three products, individual product pages, checkout, and integrated payment. I also set up a database to manage orders and automate order confirmation emails.

For small projects like this, I’m no longer tied to monthly subscriptions for platforms like Webflow, Squarespace, or Shopify. And that makes my “I can build it myself” rebel heart very happy.
